Cameron Fowler is the CEO of Early Warning Services, LLC, a financial services and technology leader. In his role, he brings more than 25 years of industry experience and a proven track record for driving transformational change at scale.
Most recently, Mr. Fowler served as Chief Strategy and Operations Officer for BMO Financial Group, where he led broad enterprise transformation, accelerating BMO’s evolution to a digitally enabled, future-ready bank driven by purpose, brand and culture. He joined BMO in January 2009 as Executive Vice-President and Head of Strategy and Marketing, BMO. Mr. Fowler also served as Executive Vice-President, Canadian Personal & Commercial Banking, and President, North American Personal & Business Banking where he was responsible for setting the strategic direction for all customer segments and providing leadership across the Personal and Business Banking businesses in Canada and the U.S. Prior to his appointment, Cam was the Group Head for Canadian Personal & Commercial Banking.
Before joining BMO, Mr. Fowler was the Managing Director & Head of Barclays Wealth International with Barclays in London, UK. He also held various senior positions within Barclays, Delano Technology Corporation and Braxton Associates/Deloitte Consulting and served as Policy Advisor for the Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, Government of Ontario.
Mr. Fowler is former Chair of the Executive Council of the Canadian Bankers Association and Director for CivicAction. Currently he is a Director of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Foundation’s Board, where he also serves as co-Chair of the No One Left Behind campaign, the world’s largest fundraising campaign for hospital-based mental health research. Mr. Fowler has served as a past chair of Moneris Solutions and the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer and was named one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40. He has a BA (honours) from Queen’s University and received his MBA from the London Business School at the University of London (UK).
